These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Playwise and Playwise+, operated by Ludicity LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Playwise Is

Playwise is a game recommendation and library management service. It uses your play history and ratings to predict how much you'll enjoy games you haven't played yet.

Playwise+ is a paid subscription tier that unlocks additional features including written verdicts, personal ranking intelligence, smart sale alerts, connected account syncing, library analytics, and weekly and monthly briefings. The specific features included in Playwise+ may change over time. We'll notify you of any meaningful reductions in what's included.

Playwise Scores and recommendations are predictions based on your taste profile. They are not guarantees of enjoyment. Your experience may differ.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use Playwise. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Playwise.

3. Playwise+ Subscription

Playwise+ is available on two billing plans:

• Monthly: $8.00 per month
• Annual: $60.00 per year

Your subscription begins when your payment is processed and renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. We'll charge the payment method on file at each renewal.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. If we increase the price of your current plan, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to Playwise+ features until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.

5. Refunds

All payments are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-period, your subscription remains active until the period ends and no partial refund is issued.

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your data from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we'll refund any unused portion of a prepaid annual subscription.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Playwise is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any prediction or recommendation will be accurate. We are not responsible for purchasing decisions you make based on Playwise scores or recommendations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ludicity LLC's liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of Playwise is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Playwise after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
